John Robert has a new kid brother!!! Everything went great in court. The judge was very curious about the wording of the deed to our property. Common Tennessee practice of course states that we gave $1 consideration for the land. She asked Brack quite a few questions about this. She also asked about our farming practices and the people who lived on the farm. Were they able to get milk or cheese from the cows since they worked there?
The judge said she knew we were lawyers, but the purpose of the hearing was to see if we could be fit parent,s too. Brack made a lovely speach which won the judge over. His lawyering skills are not just great in Tennessee!
The judge's order will be final in 10 days. We can begin the countdown to when Alex becomes an official US citizen!!!
We are heading out to a Russian restaurant for lunch and then to the waterfront to shop for paintings. We don't have the opportunity to visit Alex today. Tonight we will meet up with the other couple who went in to court after us to celebrate our victories.

Have a safe trip home and check your email. I am going to send you a picture of John Robert asleep on Charlie and Florence's couch yesterday afternoon. He was so tired he just climbed up on the couch and dozed off!!!
