Right Place, God's Time

For since the world began,
no ear has heard,
and no eye has seen a God like you,
who works for those who wait for him!
Isaiah 64:4 (New Living Translation)

I was just thinking about our adoption journey. I read my blog often to remind me just how perfect God is. God's timing and plans for my family by the addition of Alex are incredible, when I stop for just a second to think about it.
I saw a friend I met last summer during our journey. She and her family left today to head to Russia to bring back her precious little one. It seems as though things are getting tougher there to adopt. I pray that the children there will find forever families, whether those families are Russian or American.
Without becoming too sappy, I am so thankful for Alex. I am so thankful for John Robert, too! He's such an awesome kid. He has a heart of gold, I tell ya. Brack and I just said, "Here's your kid brother, " and he's just loved him and opened his heart so wide to love him. I'm so proud of him. I'm thankful for Brack. He's the best husband and father I could ever dream of. We've got the best extended families anyone could ever dream of, mine & his!
With all that said, I must go finish up some laundry. John Robert needs socks for camp tomorrow!
