Well, our first trip was a success. It's hard to believe we are parents of a child half way around the world. It's a feeling I just can't describe. I think our outlook on a lot of things have changed since experiencing the things we did in Russia. God cares for all!!!
The plane trip home was full of excitement. There were two couples bringing back children. One of the couples adopted brothers, ages 4 and 18 months. It was surreal to see them come through customs in Atlanta and immediately become American citizens. I get chills just thinking about it. That will soon be us with baby Alex!
Thanks for all your encouragement, prayers and responses. Please continue the prayers...we have a long way to go.
