Halloween was a success!!! We traveled approximately 100 miles tonight. For those of you who know where we live, you know I'm not kidding. By the time we visit the office and all the relatives, special friends and neighbors, I'd say that's about right!
John Robert defended the galaxy as a Clone Trooper and Yoda a.k.a. Alex had the force with us on our journey. Alex discovered candy corn at Mrs. Linda's and Archie's. John Robert did well not to open every pack of candy he scored along the way.
Earlier today I took the boys to the pumpkin patch. John Robert was scheduled to go on a field trip there Thursday with his kindergarten class, but due to his bout with pneumonia this week, he had to stay home. Since today was a picture perfect day, I decided to go. Once we got home, John Robert and I carved the jack-o-lantern. Next year I'm getting one of those special carving knives.
