It's so hard to believe that Alex has been home for six months. He's adjusted so well and I credit that largely to having his big brother, John Robert, making that transition easier for him. Alex is a typical 18 month old, on speed. He's constantly climbing on everything. The dining room table is one of his favorites. No need for jungle gyms around here, thus the title of the blog. Needless to say, we didn't include these photos in our post-placement report!
One of his favorite things to say is "out-out" to the dogs. We are constantly telling them to get out of the garage, so he says this to all dogs, not just ours. Alex is still smiling, even after some slight discomfort from his little surgery. Things will never be the same, if you know what I mean...
John Robert finished up with his school and Upward basketball. One of the highlights was hanging out with the guest speaker, Jordan Howell, a former UT player. Jordan brought a wonderful message to the children at John Robert's school and the kids involved in Upward. I got the inside report of UT basketball which was really cool, too!
Our prayers go out to granddad, Charlie. The boys are really missing their daddy while he's watching out for him (mommy is, too).

He looks so good!! I see the photos of him climbing on the tables and I can remember how he liked to climb under Svetlana's table in her office.. He seems to have gotten much taller and thinner. Am I right? New computer-so I lost your email, send me a note so I have it! Hugs, Michelle
Hey, I left out the big guy! Shame on me! JR looks adorable as always too!!! And, I read the post about the mobile home.... sounds like he is paying attention to the economy.. who needs a whole entire Fort when you can go mobile?? Way to cut back John Robert.
