Well, it seems as if I should know more Russian by now. We've heard it constantly since Sunday. Not much happened today except a visit with Alex. He's a cutie.
We won't get to visit tomorrow. We have to go to a doctor exam and then sight seeing.
Brack & I have been trying very hard to stay away from the water and most unusual foods. Today while at the home, Brack & I were outside with Alex when our interpreter came out and insited that we have some tea. I finally said yes. Brack stayed outside with Alex while he napped.
When we got upstairs to the flat, somehow I suddenly found myself being offered lunch: Borsch and an uncooked salad. I said "Only a small portion please." Well, I can just tell you, a small portion turned into a stockpot portion! Those of you who know me know that my eating habits do not include cabbage, beets, or onions. It was a very good thing I was quite hungry. I had to clean the plate, which made me very uncomfortable at first.
The foster mother kept asking me if she should take some to Brack. I told her I thought he was not feeling well. Then she asked what was wrong and I told her his stomach was upset. Then she wanted to know if he needed a doctor or pharmacy. I assured her he was not on his death bed.
Anyway, for dinner we ate at the Hard Rock, again. I had had enough authentic Russian cuisine for today.

Well, darn, I was practicing up my Russian cooking for when you guys return! (You really believe that, don't you?) I LOVED the photo of Alex trying to eat his big brother's picture! He is so cute, and I'm so looking forward to seeing him in "real life".
