I can't say that I'll miss anything about this process. I'm really glad it is coming to an end. Today we decided to spend our afternoon at the Moscow Zoo. It cost 150 rubles ($7) to get in and that's about what it was worth. It was interesting to say the least. I think the animal rights people would have 'em shut down. We did get to see some unusual animals from Asia and India. I don't think we truly appreciate our public forums in the US near enough.
We've had our good-bye to Russia meal. We ate at TGI Fridays with all the other CSS families that are here. Alex had a rough time tonight at dinner. He's really having some issues with this teething thing. If anyone out there has any solutions, please post them or e-mail me. Looks like this is gonna last for a while.
We are almost packed. Our driver will pick us up at 8:30 a.m. Our flight leaves here at 12:55. Here the security people similar to our TSA hand check everything. They open up every bag and Matrioshka! It's really a royal pain. So next time you have a tiny inconvenience at the airport, just remember, you could be in Moscow.
I guess the next post will be from in Atlanta, if I have time before the flight to Knoxville. I will update everyone on Alex's new status as a US citizen. OUT...

Hey Jana and Brack, Alex looks so happy. You can see it in his eyes. What a blessing! Can't wait until we can sit down and catch up. Corey has really been intrigued by this and has lots of questions about Russia and adoption. His wheels have really been turning about this. Hope all 3 of you have a great trip home. Love ya, Carol
Brack and Jana,
He is so beautiful and seems so happy. We are excited to see he and John Robbie together. We pray for traveling mercies for you all.
Love, The Cantwell's
