I just can't get that Lee Greenwood song out of my head. Just a quick update to let you know we are in Atlanta. Alex is a US citizen!!! There were no theatrics or fireworks, but our hearts were doing flips going through immigration.
The flight was interesting. There were two other couples with newly adopted children on the plane. It was like having Dolby stereo of screaming and crying for about the entire 11 hours. Alex did really great. Only slightly fussy. He did sleep about two hours until awakened by a blood curling squeal. He's out right now. I just hope he wakes up in time for his homecoming in a few short hours.
