Homecoming Green

Today was homecoming at John Robert's school. Since Alex was at PDO I volunteered to help. I ended up helping another parent set up the homecoming decorations. No doubt, Brack and I were correct in choosing the sex of our second child to be a boy. I just don't think I could survive having a girl!

It was also spirit day. As you can tell, John Robert took this very seriously. I can confirm that the spray does come out, so his hair is back to normal. I arrived at the school just in time for the pep-rally. I got to sit with JRob and his classmates. A little girl sitting near me said, "Do you know who I am?" Of course I said "No." She informed me that she was his girlfriend. A few minutes later she and JRob were holding hands! My teeth almost fell out of my head! I instructed them that was not going to happen on my watch. When I told Brack about it he asked what her name was. I told him I couldn't get past the PDA to remember her name. To our relief, by the end of the day JRob said he was breaking up with her. Maybe in second or forth grade he would have a girlfriend. Best friends, he said, are the way to go right now. (Whew!!!!!)

OMG...holding hands...I'm glad he broke up with her...her hands must have been sweaty. LOL. Your a lawyer you should know this question...if we have our boys sign a contract now stating they will not date or marry anyone we don't like for them will it hold up in a court of law when they are teenagers?
